A Slatington driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash in Lehigh County. State police at Fogelsville said the accident occurred about 4:17 p.m. on July 22 along SR309 in Upper Macungie Township.

Troopers said Kaylin K. Wanamaker, 20, was driving a 2000 Dodge Neon northbound when she reached for a plastic bag. She lost control of th car and it began to slide across the right lane and the east berm rotating clockwise about 180 degrees.The car then struck guide rail with the front left corner. After impact the car's back end continued to rotate clockwise and struck the guide rail with the rear quarter-panel. After the second impact the car traveled north while rotating clockwise another 135 degrees before coming to rest.Wanamaker was not injured but the car had to be towed from the scene. She was cited for careless driving, troopers said.
