South St., Mahanoy City, filed suit against Paul E. Zilker, 501 W. Spruce St., Mahanoy City. They were married May 5, 2000.Divorces grantedHelen E. Tyson, Mahanoy City, was granted a divorce from Randall A. Tyson, Shenandoah. They were married Feb. 24, 2001.Larry R. Carlance, Schuylkill Haven, was granted a divorce from Barbara A. Carlance, Chinchilla, Lackawanna County. They were married July 3, 1998.Jessica J. Miller, Cressona, was granted a divorce from Norman P. Miller III, Pine Grove. They were married Aug. 25, 1990.Nola Redd was granted a divorcefrom Michael Redd, both of Pottsville. They were married Dec. 29, 2000.Revoke paroleDeborah Ehlinger, 56, also known as Deborah Arena, Shenandoah, had her parole revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and was remanded to the county prison to serve out her sentence. She loses 499 days of liberty and her new maximum date for release was set at Dec. 10, 2011. Ehlinger was sentenced on a charge of retail theft.State sentenceCorey Paul Whitecavage, 22, Orwigsburg, had his probation revoked by Judge Domalakes and he was re-sentenced on a charge of terroristic threats to undergo imprisonment for one to five years in a state correctional institute. He also must undergo mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations. Whitecavage had pleaded guilty in May 2009 and was placed on probation for three years. He was cited by Patrolman William Bradley, Orwigsburg police, for threatening people with a pellet gun.Treasurer's reportCounty Treasurer Jacqueline McGovern reported the beginning balance for June was $54,193,179,73, deposits, $9,656,494.60. disbursements, $12,715,294.93 and ending balance, $48,458,959.33.During the month $914,112.16 was received in real estate taxes, $435,532.71 for the funded debt tax and $15,888.37 per capita tax. Revenues for sale of licenses by the treasurer's office totaled $2,360 and other revenues were, magisterial fees collected, $68,681.77; tariff on land phones for 9-1-1-, $80,010.25; department earnings for 9-1-1, $768.54 and hotel tax, $20,762.75.
