Drivers should be alert for state Department of Transportation road projects in the coming days.

In Penn Forest Township, PennDOT workers will be patching potholes on Penn Forest Road between Pohopoco Drive and Route 903 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. starting Monday and ending Friday, although rain may delay the work.In Lower Towamensing Township, maintenance work will be done between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday on Delaware Avenue between Hahns Dairy Road and the Monroe County line. The work is expected to start on Wednesday.In Bowmanstown borough, work will be done on White Street, between Fireline Road and Route 248 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday.In Mahoning Township, work will be done on Route 209 between Jim Thorpe and Lehighton between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday.In Kidder Township, pothole patching will be done on Route 903 between Southlake Drive and Unionville Road between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday through Friday.In Banks Township, work will be done on Route 93 between Plains Road and Quakake Road between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday through Wednesday.In Mahoning Township, bridge repair work will be done on Country Club Road between Route 443 and Route 902 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.In Lower Towamensing Township, work will be done along Lower Smith Gap Road Little Gap Road and the Monroe County line between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
