A vehicle stop conducted by members of the Pocono Mountain Regional police led to the arrest of a wanted person.
Police said about 5:33 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, officers on routine patrol along SR196 in Coolbaugh Township, observed a vehicle traveling without a driver side front tire. A vehicle stop was made and the driver identified as Jacqueline Cooper, of Tobyhanna.A check on Cooper's license revealed there was an active warrant for her arrest issued to the Monroe County's sheriffs' office for a driving under the influence (DUI) charge.She was taken into custody and lodged in the county prison in Snydersville.
