The Cressona Band performed recently at the East End Park in Tamaqua. The Cressona Band, conducted by John Potlunas, performed selections varying from the Star Spangled Banner, Amaprito Roca, and March Semper Fidelis. The Associate Conductor was Dale Schimpf. The Cressona Band is a non-profit organization consisting of musicians of all ages and all parts of Schuylkill County. The band rehearses and performs from April and until September. Their next local performance will be at Heisler's Dairy Bar on Sunday July 25 at 2 p.m.
