There will be a Monroe County Youth Field Day on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 7:15 a.m.-5 p.m. (rain or shine) at Camp Trexler in Jonas. This event is FREE to boys and girls ages 8-14. They must be registered and only the first 225 applicants are accepted.

The events are: Cherokee run; archery range; fishing; .22 rifle range; shotgun range; boating safety; kayaks/canoes. All equipment is provided with no charge.There will be outdoor displays and demonstrations with seminars on conservation, trapping, Wild Turkey Federation, dog handling, waterfowl and outdoor safety.There is free registration, T-shirts, hats, lunch and door prizes.This event is hosted by: Monroe County Youth Field Day Organization in cooperation with Minsi Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, Camp Trexler; PGC-Pennsylvania Game Commission; PA Fish & Boat Commission.Youth are to dress for outdoor activities and for the outdoor weather that day.To request applicant registration form, email
