Monroe burglary

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Monroe County home.

Troopers said the residence of Louis Colon, 1108 Juniper Rd., Sun Valley Mountain Estates, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, was entered sometime between 8:30 and 11 p.m. on July 7. Entry was gained by pushing an air conditioner unit out of a window. Removed was a safe from the victim's bedroom and an Xbox 360 elite.Troopers are also probing acts of criminal mischief.Robert Adams, of Wier Creek Drive, Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone smashed a white lighthouse lamp post at his home using an unknown type blunt object. The incident occurred sometime between 1:30 and 8:55 a.m. on July 9.Karan Palazzo, of Jamaica, N.Y., reported someone used black spray paint and marked the hood and left front quarter panel of her vehicle while it was parked at 115 Lucretius Trail, in the Towamensing Trails development in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. The incident occurred sometime between 2:30 and 9 a.m. on July 11.On July 12 unknown persons damaged the mailbox of Barbara and John Wenninger, at 150 Little Twig Rd., in Chestnuthill Township.
