Arrests reported by PSP Lehighton

Several arrests made by troopers in recent days were reported by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

On July 10 about 8:10 p.m. troopers responded to 3062 Blue Ridge Rd., in Saylorsburg, Monroe County, to a report of a harassment incident. On scene troopers said they found Benjamin Harrington Jr., 41, of Saylorsburg, disorderly and in a drunken condition. Troopers learned during an argument with two females, ages 54 and 52 both of Saylorsburg, Harrington allegedly struck them. He was charged with harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.During the investigation troopers learned that Harrington had an outstanding warrant of his arrest out of Snyder County. He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville.On July 3 about 3:46 p.m. troopers were called to 40 Quinn Lane, in Ashfield, East Penn Township, Carbon County, for a criminal mischief incident. Troopers alleged while at the above location Eric K. Borger, 47, of Kunkletown, used his motorcycle to spin the rear wheel causing gravel to fly towards the residence of Theresa Quinn, 63, of Ashfield. He then allegedly threw a rock at the home while shouting profanities before leaving the scene.He then returned about an hour later and punctured four holes in Quinn's above ground swimming pool using a screwdriver. He then fled in his vehicle.He is facing charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.On July 10 about 1 a.m. troopers were called to 165 Tar Run Rd., Towamensing Township, Carbon County, to a report of a harassment. As a result of an investigation troopers said Heather N. Compton, 23, and Sean C. Compton, 19, both of Lehighton, was charged for allegedly engaging in a fight with a 54-year-old male at the above stated location.On July 3 at 7 p.m. troopers were called to 417 Hemlock Lane, in Polk Township, Monroe County, to reports of a harassment. Troopers allege that Michael Tamn, 38, of Kunkletown, threatened to strike Mariuse Martin Mayshat, 44, of Wallington, N.J., with a baseball bat. Tamn was charged with harassment.Also on July 3 at 2 a.m. troopers responded to 237 New York Blvd., in Polk Township, for another harassment report. Troopers said at the scene they learned that Kyle R. Jumper, 42, of Cresco, Wilbur H. Crotsley, 51, of Kresgeville, and Anthony M. Ianuale, 38, of Sciota, got into a verbal altercation which turned physical. Troopers said Crotsley and Ianuale allegedly struck Jumper and he then threw rocks at their vehicles causing damages.Charges of harassment and criminal mischief are pending against the three, troopers said.On July 10 about 2:15 a.m. troopers responded to Lakeside Drive in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, and found Gregory Phillips, 26, of Effort, highly intoxicated and wondering in the area. He was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment due to his intoxication. He was cited for public drunkenness, troopers said.Troopers said Eric David Young, 42, of Alburtis, Lehigh County, was also cited for public drunkenness following an incident on July 11 about 12:09 a.m. along Burger Hollow Rd., in Polk Township. He was observed staggering in the area, cited and placed in the county prison in Snydersville.Also on July 11 about 7:56 p.m. troopers responded to the Dubler Trailer Park in Polk Township to a report of a disorderly conduct incident. Troopers said Carl Richard Hahn, 49, of Kunkletown, allegedly made obscene comments and gestures to Bonnie Lou Devore, 53, also of Kunkletown. Troopers said Hahn will be charged with disorderly conduct.Troopers said on July 3 at 10:10 p.m. troopers stopped a vehicle along SR512 at Sullivan Trail, in Monroe County, for traffic violations. The driver was identified as David Michael Stein, 21, of Easton. He was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The drug charges are pending test results, troopers said.On July 3 about 11:42 p.m. troopers cited James Dillman, 27, of Palmerton, for disorderly conduct for his conduct outside of the barracks while he was waiting for his friend to be released from custody on drug charges.Troopers also reported the arrest of Eric Dawson Beers, 40, of Lehighton, for criminal mischief. Troopers said the incident occurred along SR248, between River Wak and SR895, in Lower Towamensing Township. Beers allegedly intentionallly kicked a metal object into the right travel lane of 248 damaging the right front tire and rim of a vehicle operated by Randal Lynn Kunkle, 48, also of Lehighton. Troopers did not indicate on what date the incident occurred.
