Tamaqua stays alive in District 18 11-12

The Tamaqua 11-12 Little League All-Stars advanced to Friday's loser's bracket final with a 15-5 four-inning win over West Hazleton on Wednesday night.

Hazleton-TamaquaTamaqua had the big bats out in its win over West Hazleton as Zack Coleman blasted two home runs, while Jon Hadesty and Conner Hartung added roundtrippers in the win.The locals scored every time at bat with three in the first, seven in the second and five in the third.Hartung, Matt Minchoff and Coleman combined on a three-hitter for Tamaqua.Russell Blaker and Owen Bates each had a pair of doubles for the winners.Tamaqua will now host Hazleton on Friday night.
