DUI arrests

Several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported by state police at Lehighton.

On Friday, June 25, about 7:23 p.m. Robert John Moyer, 54, of Lansford, was stopped while operating a 1992 Nissan Stanza along SR248 westbound in Bowmanstown, Carbon County, for committing numerous traffic violations. He was found to under the influence and placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.On Sunday, June 27, about 2:09 a.m. troopers stopped a vehicle along SR209 near Sei Pike in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for several traffic violations. The driver was identified as Derek Frable, 27, of Palmerton. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test. Charges will be filed, troopers said.On Saturday, June 26, troopers stopped Erin Kuhns, 21, of Catasaqua, for traffic violations along SR209 in Polk Township, Monroe County about 2:45 a.m. She was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody. Charges are pending, troopers added.On Thursday, June 24, about 12:15 p.m. troopers stopped Kevin Lee Warren, 53, of Slatington, along SR248 eastbound at Blockers, in Franklin Township, Carbon County. He was placed under arrest for DUI and taken to the Palmerton Hospital for a blood test. Troopers said he will be charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
