A steady stream of visitors throughout the day attended St. John's Lutheran Church's Strawberry Social which held Sunday on North Street in Jim Thorpe. In the midst of the food, live music, crafts, and covered dining areas there was a large spacious roped off area ready for the old-fashioned cakewalk which was to be held later in the day.
