Two defendants in pending criminal cases entered guilty pleas recently before Carbon County Judge Steven R. Serfass.
Kevin A. Murray, 58, of Nesquehoning, pleaded to one count of harassment. He was arrested on March 6 by Nesquehoning police at his residence with Barbara Jean Clauss the listed victim.Serfass sentenced him to time served (66 days in jail).Robert L. Accetturo, 55, of Randolph, N.J., pleaded to one count of simple assault. He was arrested by state police at Fern Ridge for an incident in the Towamensing Trails development in Penn Forest Township with Tabe Vissael the listed victim.He was sentenced to serve 30 to 75 days in jail and paroled since he has already served his maximum. He must also make restitution of $2,075 and have no contact with the victim.Both must also pay court costs.
