Panthers' Stano headed for Moravian

Logan Stano has decided to further his academic as well as athletic career at Moravian College this fall.

Stano, who led Panther Valley in scoring with 311 points and scoring average (12.96 ppg), has decided to play basketball as a Greyhound this up-coming winter.The recent Panther graduate led the team in many other categories rebounds (9.6 per game), blocks (1.6 per game), shooting percentage (50-percent) and free throw percentage (73-percent).Stano scored double figures in 18 out of 24 games, including a high of 19 on two different nights. He also collected double-digit rebounds in 12 games. He was also named to the TIMES NEWS Second Team a year ago and was selected to the All-Tournament team of the Panther Valley Tip-Off Tournament."In our offense, everything ran through Logan," said Pat Crampsie of Stano. "His post presence opened up things for everybody else. Notr only did he hit 50-percent of his shots but when he was double-teammed he could find the open man. He's an unselfish player and he takes pride in opening things up for others. He only worries about winning, and he's a big reason why we did win the past couple of seasons."
