The Panther Valley High School graduates who purchased graduation handshake photos from Flexer Photo Studios can pick them up in the high school office between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.Summit HillSHCIO to meetA special meeting of the Summit Hill Community Improvement Organization will be held on Monday, June 28, at 7 p.m. in the borough hall. Members will be discussing a Labor Day fundraiser and the Ludlow Park Project. Borough residents are welcome to join the organization and offer ideas to improve the town.Free refreshments will be served.Presbyterian churchThe worship service for the Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, Summit Hill, for Sunday, June 27, will take place at 9:30 a.m., which is a change for the summer season.The time will be in effect until Sept. 12. During the summer, there will be no junior choir, Sunday school or adult Bible class.LansfordTo honor graduatesThe First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (Branch 140, St. Ann Society, and Branch 46, St. Mary Magdalene Society), Lansford, plans to award monetary gifts to its members who have graduated from grade school or high school.Graduates must submit their name, address, school and graduation date to the respective financial secretaries, Carolyn Bazik, 121 W. Kenneth Medve, pastor, will conduct the one-hour training.The only requirement to be a server is that the youth must have received his or her First Holy Communion.Parents of interested youths can contact the pastor for additional information.Vacation Bible SchoolSt. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, has announced the dates of its upcoming Vacation Bible School. It will take place on the mornings of July 26-28.Registrations will be accepted on June 12-13 and 19-20 after all of the weekend Masses in the parish office.The theme will be "Rain Forest."The school is open to children 4-10 from any of the Catholic parishes of the area.CoaldaleFirst Congregational ChurchThe Vacation Bible School's closing program will be held in the church sanctuary from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 25. Parents and friends are welcome to attend.The youth and children VBS activities will be on display in the Sunday School rooms at 7 p.m. followed by a social hour.On Sunday, June 27, at 9 a.m., a special service will be presented by Teen Challenge. Included in the program will be choral music and testimonies.The public is invited to attend.NesquehoningSenior boxesSenior boxes will be distributed at the Methodist Church on Friday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to noon.
