Tamaqua Area High School students who participated in the Schuylkill County YES (Your Employability Skills) program were recognized at a recent school board meeting. According to advisor John Matulevich, 21 students graduated from the program and received certification. The students had to take two tests and a drug screening. Employers participating in the program would look to give YES students preferential consideration in their hiring practices.
