Theft of ATV probed

The theft of a all terrain vehicle (ATV) is being probed by state police at Lehighton, along with another theft and a report of found property.

Dale Flamish, 54, of Nazareth, reported his 2000 Polaris Magnum 400CC was stolen from 7401 Kunkletown Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said the criminals cut a chain to remove the ATV which was secured to a tree. The ATV is green in color. The theft occurred sometime between June 18 and Monday, June 21.A 16-year-old male from Washington Township, N.J., reported his wallet containing about $50 in cash is missing. The teen said he was at the Skirmish Paintball site along SR940 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, on June 6 between 2 and 4:30 p.m., when he said realized his wallet was missing.Troopers said a white in color Klein tool bag filled with various tools was found along SR209 at Trachsville Hill Rd., in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, on Monday, June 21, about 5:30 p.m.Anyone with information concerning the thefts or the found bag of tools is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
