District 18 Little League has announced its schedule for its 2010 11-12 year-old All-Star tournament.

The double elimination tournament begins on Friday, June 25 with six games and will continue through Monday, July 12 if necessary.There are 14 teams in this year's tournament. In one change, there is an Anthracite entry that is a combined Summit Hill and Nesquehoning team. Anthracite will play its home games at the Nesquehoning Little League field.Also, Hazle Township has combined with Tri-County for the 11-12 tournament only. The combined Hazle Township/Tri-County team will alternate its home games between Hazle Township and McAdoo's field, starting with Hazle Township.Other teams in the 11-12 tournament include Hazleton, Whte Haven, Weatherly, Valley East (Drums), Jim Thorpe, Tamaqua, Franklin Township, Lansford, Towamensing, Freeland, Valley West (Conyngham) and West Hazleton.The first round of games for June 25 include White Haven at Weatherly, Valley East at Jim Thorpe, Tamaqua at Frankin Township, Lansford at Towamensing, Freeland at Valley West and West Hazleton at Hazle Township/Tri-County.
