A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident that was reported about 9 a.m. on June 8.

State police at Fern Ridge said Brian Monaghan, 25, of East Stroudsburg, went to the residence of Julie Monaghan, 3158A Gardner Rd., Jackson Township, and removed an air conditioner from a window to gain entry to the home.He then went to the victim's bedroom and removed a key for a 1999 Toyota Camry. He then drove the Camry from the property.Troopers said Brian Monaghan was previously told about two months prior that he was not to return to the property.Troopers did not indicate the relationship between the victim and defendant.He was charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle, troopers said.
