Sarah Drummer, 44, died in a fire at the split-level home of her parents with whom she resided in Deer Lake, West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County Saturday afternoon.

Officials report Drummer, who suffered from multiple sclerosis and was confined to a wheelchair, was unable to escape the flames at 313 Maple Boulevard.Her parents were attending a wedding when the fire broke out and her 21-year old son was vacationing in New Jersey.Neighbors reported that when they opened the front door of the home, they were pushed back by smoke.The flames were also shooting from the back of the house.Three firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion. Fire Chief Michael Strouse says 75 to 100 firefighters responded and shuttled water to the home because the neighborhood didn't have hydrants.
