Republicans to meetThe Summit Hill Republican Club will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, June 10, at 7 p.m. in the Summit Hill Borough Hall.Voter registration forms will be available.President Stephen Redash will be in charge of the meeting and extends an invitation for all to attend. New members are always welcome.Membership dues for 2010 will also be accepted at this time.LansfordOLOA graduationEighth grade graduation ceremonies at Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, will be held tonight. The students will be presented diplomas during a Mass to be held at 6:30 in St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford.The OLOA kindergarten graduation will take place on Thursday, June 10, at 7 p.m. in the church.Altar serversA training session for new altar servers at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Kenneth Medve, pastor, will conduct the one-hour training.The only requirement to be a server is that the youth must have received his or hyer First Holy Communion.Parents of interested youths can contact the pastor for additional information.To serve on boardAngela Costello of Lansford has been appointed to serve as a member of the advisory board of Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford. She will represent St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, and succeeds Mary Hoben, who served in that capacity for the past three years.Other members of the parish on the board are Jean Balas and Daniel Wynn.Little AngelsThe Little Angels Pre-School, which is part of Our Lady of the Angels Academy, is accepting registrations for the 2010-2011 school year. There are openings in the three-year-old program (Mondays and Fridays) and the four-year-old program (Tuesday through Thursday, full- or half-days).
