Two persons were slightly injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, along SR339, a half-mile south of Brandonville, in Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Holly Reeves, 21, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier southbound and rounding a curve when she crossed over into the oncoming lane. Reeves over-reacted and attempted to get her vehicle back into her lane of travel, troopers said. The car then went onto the west berm and struck a rock embankment which caused it to roll over. The car came to rest in the southbound lane facing northeast.Reeves and her passenger, Joshua Mooney, 22, also of Mahanoy City, were slightly injured but refused medical treatment. Damages were extensive to the vehicle.Troopers said Reeves will be cited for the crash and also for not wearing a seat belt.
