Jonathon Frantz, Jenna Creed, Mandy Repsher and Emily Borger were confirmed as adult members of Jerusalem Lutheran Church on May 23. The Rev. Brian Holben said, "Confirmation is the day of entering into the body of the church." He said it used to be that a confirmation class would have more than 60 students but by 2010 that number had dropped to the four in this year's class, and of those, only one out of three will return to the church with their families. However, where people are suffering such as North Africa the number is rising.
