Eigfhteen area residents were among 105 who were arraigned Monday morning in the office of District Attorney James P. Goodman at the Schuylkill County courthouse in Pottsville on criminal charges. All entered pleas of not guilty and requested trial by jury. Those arraigned were:

Christopher Hill, 22, of 47 Mushdale Rd., New Ringgold, was charged with two counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with person under age 16, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, indecent exposure and one count each of statutory sexual assault and corruption of minor. He was charged by Patrolman Corey Herring, Rush Township police, last Dec. 13.James J. Bennek Jr., 36, of 180 Claremont Ave., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Charles Blesse, Coaldale Police, with driving under the influence (DUI) and two summary charges of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and failing to activate turning signals when required. Bennek was cited last Dec. 8 when stopped at Second and E. Ruddle streets.Jason W. Miller, 31, of 34 N. Greenwood St., Apt. 1, Tamaqua, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance (CS), possession with intent to deliver a CS, criminal use of communication facility and possession of a CS when cited by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, Tamaqua police, last March 30 at his home.Ian Patrick McGregor, 25, of 110 E. High St., Coaldale, was charged with DUI, DUI of drugs, two counts each of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment and one count each of disorderly conduct by engaging in fighting, and summary charges of failling to drive on right side of road, overtaking a vehicle on the right side, careless driving and failing to wear a seat belt. Richard Wever, of the Tamaqua Drug Task Force.Ralph Richardson, 22, of 153 Municipal Rd., New Ringgold, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while his operating privileges were suspended, failing to carry car insurance and careless driving. He was cited by Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, West Penn Township police, on Municipal Road last Feb. 8.Brian R. Kehl, 27, of 117 Walnut St., Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, was charged with retail theft from Fegley's Mini Mart in Tamaqua for theft of a hoagie valued at $4.29. He was cited by Cpl. Dwayne Hacker.Diane Marie Dankulich, 42, of 337 Valley St., Brockton, Schuylkill Township, was charged with DUI by Patrolman Warren Firing, Schuylkill Haven police last March 14.James Joseph Englert, 33, of 227 Lafayette St., Tamaqua, was charged with burglary of a log cabin at 478 Pine Valley Rd., East Brunswick Township, on March 27, 2009, criminal trespass by breaking into the building, theft of personal property including an air compressor and criminal mischief by damaging the front door.
