Weatherly police are investigating the cause of an accident that took place at the intersection of East Main Drive and South Eurana Avenue on Friday morning. Police said that a Monte Carlo, driven by Kevin Taylor, 45, of Lehighton, was traveling east on East Main. Taylor's vehicle struck a Dodge Ram pick up truck with oversize tires, driven by Josh Kreiger of Weatherly, who failed to see Taylor while he was stopped at the stop sign on South Eurana Avenue. There was moderate to severe damage to both vehicles. Police said charges are pending the results of the investigation.
