The Palmerton Area Library, located at 402 Delaware Avenue in Palmerton, will sponsor two musical concerts in the upstairs gallery in June.

For adults, an evening of classical music and Broadway show tunes will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday June 11. The show will feature two popular local musicians: Joseph Plechavy and Randall Perry.For children, the library will present a Kid's Rock Concert on Wednesday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. This free concert will be the official kick-off for the Summer Reading Program, which is offered at the library during June and July. The concert will feature Ricky and his band Ovmium76 from Allentown. They sing popular kids' songs to a rock beat, which will involve lots of audience participation.
