A portion of SR895 and Lauchnor Road in East Penn Township were closed Wednesday evening when one of two tractor trailers carrying a modular home broke down in the roadway. The trucks from the Hegins area of Schuylkill County were traveling west on and attempting to make a right turn onto Lauchnor Road when the front truck experienced a possible break of a front portion of the trailer or the towing yoke. The front of the trailer impacted with the road surface. Workers managed to move the unit entirely onto Lauchnor Road where it was placed out of service. East Penn Township police are investigating the incident.
