Lehigh Carbon Community College's (LCCC) Educational Support Center (ESS) Tutoring program has recently been awarded National Association for Developmental Education (NADE) Certification from 2010-2017 in the advanced category.
The NADE Certification process requires applicants to demonstrate application of theory, use of quality practices as defined by professional research and literature of the field and analysis of baseline and comparative evaluation data to demonstrate the use of continuous and systematic assessment and evaluation.On March 12, Michelle Carlino, Associate Dean of Educational Support Services, and Debra Condon, Educational Support Center Lab Supervisor, traveled to Columbus, Ohio to the annual NADE Conference, where they were presented with a plaque in recognition of this achievement.A recognition reception was held April 30 at LCCC's main campus in Schnecksville.For more information about LCCC's education support services available for students or for ESS hours, please call 610-799-1156.
