The Frances C. Jakabcin District is hosting the annual out of town board meeting of the national officers of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association on Sunday, June 6, beginning with a Holy Mass at 1 p.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Church, Lansford, with the Rev. Monsignor Peter M. Polando and the Rev. Monsignor Thomas Derzack as the celebrants.

Following the Mass, members will meet in Macaluso's Lantern in Nesquehoning for a dinner meeting.Members of St. Ann Society of St. Katharine Drexel parish and member of branches in Coaldale, Nesquehoning, Hauto and other areas planning to attend both Mass and dinner should make reservations by calling President Veronica Bazik at (570) 645-5253 by the Saturday, May 22 deadline.Everyone is invited to the Mass.
