Three Weatherly Area High School students recently competed in the 37th annual Professor John Steiner Gold Mathematical Competition, held at Bucknell University in Lewisburg

One hundred, eighty-seven students competed from 31 schools. As a team, Weatherly earned an Honorable Mention Award. In the individual competition, Christopher Hunt won First Place.In addition to books for prizes, the team received a plaque which is now in the trophy case at the high school.The Weatherly team adviser is Katie Leach.
