State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the shooting of a dog in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Rose Marie Fetterolf, 46, of 140 Rosie's Lane, Barry Township, Ashland, let her German Shepherd dog out to go to the bathroom about 11-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6. An unknown person hunting in the area shot the dog while at the rear of the residence.
