Lehigh Carbon Community Colleges Donley Center in Allentown will offer Insurance Call Center Professional Training for the Spring semester.

This 180-hour course provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to work in the insurance industry in a variety of different capacities, including a call center environment.Intensive customer service and interpersonal skills, teambuilding techniques, computer skills, multitasking, and communication skills are taught.Upon successful completion, students will earn 24 pre-licensing credits required to take the Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health Insurance exams.Classes meet Monday through Friday, June 14-July 26, 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., except for June 28, 29 & 30 when class meets from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (no classes on July 2 or July 5).Students must attend a mandatory orientation on Friday, May 21 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. prior to registration.Qualifying students must meet assessment standards, bring a letter of recommendation from a non-family member, and $10 cash for the PA Criminal Background check.
