The monthly program for the Palmerton Area Historical Society will be a visit to the Anoopam Mission and Hindu Temple on Clearview Road, Coplay. At 7 p.m. on Monday, May 10, host Shree Patel will give the group background before attending the Hindu service. Attendees will need a pair of socks. Those planning to attend will car pool from Hager Furniture Store parking lot, Palmerton, at 6 p.m. Transportation is available for those needing a ride. A Mother's Day Tea will be held at 9:30 a.m. to honor moms on their special day. The breakfast tea will be presented by the Sunday school.
