Soberick addresses Marian language classes

Detective-Sergeant John Soberick of the Lansford Police Department spoke to several Spanish and French classes at Marian Catholic High School on Friday, April 16. Detective Soberick, a 1981 Marian graduate, told the students about many of his experiences as a Marian student and how important it is to do one's best in high school, especially with regard to the study of foreign languages, particularly Spanish. Mr. Soberick also spoke about how he decided to become a law enforcement officer, what the work involves and what other types of jobs are available in that field, such as working for the CIA and FBI.
