The Tamaqua Fire Department, police and ambulance personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident that occurred just before 10 a.m. Tuesday. Reportedly, a white Lincoln Continental driven by Erma Haas, of New Ringgold, pulled in front of a blue Ford Ranger driven by Gregory Greenall, of Lansford, near the entrance to Sisters Cantina on East Broad Street while they both were driving on SR209. The extent of any injuries were unknown. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
