These three Toms are strutting their stuff for three nearby hens in the West End. There was a whole lot of puffing out of chests and fanning of tail feathers to impress the ladies who nonchalantly continued pecking. These preening males will soon be prime targets for Spring Gobbler (bearded bird only) hunting season which starts this Saturday, May 1-31 for persons who possess a valid special wild turkey license.
