Republicans retain majority in voting registration

The official total number of registered voters in Schuylkill County is 88,776 with the Republican Party being the top party with 42,063 registered voters followed by the Democratic Party with 38,238, according to figures released by Frannie Brennan, director of the Schuylkill Election Bureau. The registration deadline was Monday, April 19, for the Primary Election to be held on May 18.
