Nesquehoning arrests reported

Nesquehoning police reported on the following arrests made by officers recently.

On April 16 Officer Timothy Wuttke filed charges against David Samule Irby, of 2605 SR903, Albrightsville, for an incident that occurred at the county prison on April 6. Irby, an inmate at the jail, allegedly assaulted four correctional officers causing injuries. He was charged with aggravated assault by a prisoner and simple assault.On April 16 Officer Carl Breiner filed charges against Carl Kopack Jr., 226 E. Abbott St., Lansford, for an incident that occurred on March 17 at 3:29 a.m. at Redner's Warehouse Market. Kopack was charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI). A test revealed a .16BAC for the defendant.
