Six area residents among 42 arraigned by district attorney

Six area residents were among 42 who were arraigned Monday morning in the district attorney's office at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty. All requested jury trials. They were as follows:

John Peter Bobita, 51, of 314 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, was charged by Chief Shawn Tray, West Mahanoy Township police, with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and three counts of possession of a controlled substance (CS) last March 7 on Mount Olive Boulevard.Daniel Charles Larkin Jr., 32, 331 E. Pine St., Mahanoy City, was charged by Patrolman Gary Keppel, Shenandoah police, with retail theft from Redner's Warehouse Market last Jan. 18. He has two citations for retail theft.Thomas King McCabe Jr., 24, of 326 W. Broad St., Apt. 1, Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman George Carado, Shenandoah police, with possession and delivery of a CS last May 22 in the 400 block on W. Poplar St.Kelly Dranginis, 26, of 139 Coal St., Cumbola, Blythe Township, was charged by Trooper Edward J. Sanchez with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol on SR209 in East Norwegian Township last Oct. 20.Jeremy HIrochek, 18, of 39 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, was charged by Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, Coaldale police, with public drunkenness, underage drinking and three counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of terroristic threats.Samuel Leon Fry, 29, of 79 Goose Pond Road, New Ringgold, was charged by Patrolman Gregory Meisner, Schuylkill Haven police, with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphenalia last Jan. 22 on W. Main St.Justin Washick, 23, Pottsville, charged by Patrolman Brian Reno, Pottsville police, with defiant trespass on the business property of Buy Me Again last Feb. 7.Sherri L. Gerace, 38, Hegins, was charged by Patrolman Richard C. Clink, Branch/Reilly Townships police, with DUI, careless driving, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and failing to turn on turning signals when changing lanes last Dec. 19 on SR29 in Reilly Township.Stacy Lynn Bohr, 31, Pine Grove, was charged by Patrolman Thomas Hoban, Minersville police, with criminal conspiracy, criminal mischief and harrassment of a resident at 12 S. Front St., last Dec. 19.Paul J. Santai, 30, Pine Grove, was charged by Patrolman Thomas Hoban with criminal conspiracy, criminal mischief and harassment with Stacy Lynn Bohr.Bradley Allen Correll, 20, Saint Clair, was charged by Cpl. Mark O'Toole, Pottsville police, with DUI and failing to drive on right side of roadway last Jan. 24.Rebecca G. Correll, 39, Minersville, was charged by Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers, Minersville police, with theft of delivery of a package to a wrong address. The information filed to court states a FedEx driver dropped off a package at the door of Correll's residence and when he realized the error he went to retrieve it but it was gone.Frank John D'Agostino III, 28, Shenandoah, was charged by Trooper Mario Pompei with possession with intent to deliver a CS, possession of a CS and drug paraphernalia, DUI and driving an unregistered car.John Charles Paletskie Jr., Morea, Mahanoy Township, was charged by Trooper Michael Becker with DUI, careless driving and failing to drive at a safe speed when stopped last New Year's Day on SR1010.Justin Allen Klinger, 18, Ashland, was charged by Patrolman Joseph J. Leskin, Saint Clair police, with retail theft from Walmart Store of three items of clothing valued at $37.10 last Jan. 4.Kristy Lynn Cress, 27, Girardville, was charged by Trooper James Cuttitta with receiving four pieces of jewelry valued at $809 belonging to Elizabeth Cress, Girardville, last December.Rochelle Shaleen Hauze, 21, Girardville, was charged by Trooper Cuttitta with criminal attempt to commit burglary at the home of Margaret Hennessey, Girardville, last Jan. 20 and also charged with criminal consipiracy, loiitering and criminal mischief to property.Steven Allen Donton, 28, Pottsville; Angela Dawn Singh, 37, Pine Grove; Lance Robert Christman, 45, PIne Grove, and Amber Michelle Marek-Jolley, 22, Independence, MO., were all charged by Det. Thomas Trotter IV, Pine Grove police, with criminal charges arising out of an explosion at 75 S. Tulpehocken St., last Jan. 12 allegedly caused by the group making methamphetamine by cooking in an attic. It exploded setting the home on fire which spread to six other structures.Donton, Singh and Christman each are charged with 10 counts of recklessly endangering another person, seven counts each of arson and criminal mischief and one count each of causing a catastrophe, criminal conspiracy and manufacturing a CS. Marek-Jolley is charged with seven counts of arson and one count of criminal conspiracy.Donton is also was charged by Trooper Wesley Levan II with false identification when stopped on Mollytown Road, Tremont Township, last Jan. 19 and was charged by Trooper Bernard Spece Jr. with terroristic threats and three counts of simple assault on persons in the home at 60 Fidler Road, Washington Township, on Jan. 10, 2007.Timothy J. Willman, 24, Minersville, was charged by Trooper Michael Keating with theft of scrap metal and copper wire from property of Ernest Schaeffer, Washington Township, last Nov. 9.James R. Nagle, 24, PIne Grove, was charged by Det. Trotter, Pine Grove police, with theft by deception of receiving $8,000 to perform work on Daniel Quiroz home and restaurant in Bethel Township and failing to perform the job.Amanda Lynn Pickup, 21, Millersburg, was charged by Chief Steven Lohr, Hegins Township police, with passing a bad check at the Gratz Bank last April 28.Bradley Leo Merwine, 32, Tremont, was charged by Sgt. John Boyer, Tower City police, with recklessly endangerng another person, criminal mischief, involved in accident with another vehicle in the 300 block on East Grand Avenue, Tower City, last Jan, 3 and is also charged with reckless driving, driving while license suspended, driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to comply with inspection law. Merwin was also charged by Trooper Mark Baron with giving a false report by claiming his car stolen when it had not been stolen.Adrienne Edith Costanzo, 39, Schuykill Haven, was charged by Patrolman David T. George, Schuylkill Haven police, with DUI and careless driving last Jan. 29.Dan Franklin Whalen, 49, Schuylkill Haven, was charged by Patrolman Gregory Meisner, Schuylkill Haven police, with DUI last Jan. 21 and failing to carry car insurance.Shawn Allen Himmelberger, 31, Port Clinton, was charged by Trooper John D. Powis with criminal attempt to obtain a CS, acquiring a CS by misrepresentation and two counts of possession of a CS when stopped on Woodbridge Road, West Brunswick Township last Dec. 9.Brenda May Gates, 45, Pottsville, was charged by Det. Glenn Dove, Pottsville police, with theft of leased property consisting of an electric water cooler valued at $200 and passing a bad check for $68.10 last Nov. 16. Gates was also charged by Trooper Alyssa Becker with theft of leased property from Rent-A-Center Stores, Pottsville.Jessica Lynn Danouski, 23, Shenandoah, was charged buy Det. Dennis Clark, district attorney's office, with identify theft, theft of services and theft by deception in using another person's ID card to gain medical service at Reading Hospital last Nov. 7.Michael Joseph Mayersky, 24, Shenandoah, was charged by Trooper Mark Ruscavage with DUI last Jan. 10 and also charged with failing to have a driver's license, driving while license suspended, carrying no car insurance, failing to drive on right side of road and failing to wear seat belt.Ryan Isaac Miller, 20, Schuylkill Haven, was charged by Patrolman Vincent McDonald, Schuylkill Haven police,with criminal conspiracy.Tobi Allen Metz, 28, Schuylkill Haven, was charged by Patrolman McDonald with criminal trespass on property on Avenue C last Feb. 10.Erik Mengel, 24, Schuylkill Haven, was charged by Patrolman McDonald with criminal trespass and criminal mischief on property on Avenue C last Feb. 12.Clayton Pepe, 41, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman McDonald with burglary on property at Avenue C and criminal trespass, terroristic threats and criminal mischief last Feb. 12.Eric Robert Shappell, 25, Seltzer, Norwegian Township, was charged by Patrolman McDonald with identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property and theft by deception last May 12 and 15.Joshua Edward Gattine, 20, Hazleton, was charged by Patrolman Eric C. Sterner, Minersville police, with burglary of Rodnick's Discount Grocery Store and criminal trespass, theft of 19 packs of cigarettes valued at $105.45, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief last July 29.Troy Daniel Langtry, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Brian Pyle, Branch/Reilly Townships police, with five counts of aggravated assault of police officer with deadly weapon, illegal possession of firearm, fleeing police, two counts each of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia last Jan. 10.Michael R. Harwick, 38, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Ryan P. Murphy, Minersville police, with theft by deception by passing bad check to Al's TV Store for a freezer last July 30.Aaron Vadaley, 32, Pottsville, was charged by Trooper Troy S. Greenawald with two counts of being involved in a corrupt organization in Schuylkill County and one count each of criminal conspiracy and criminal use of cell phone.Mark James Santai, 45, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Charles Webber, Pottsville police, with DUI and being involved in a hit and run accident last June 27.Anthony James Cress, 23, Pottsville, was charged by Patrolman Brian Kotzmoyer, Pottsville police, with loitering and prowling and public drunkenness last Feb. 27.
