A domestic incident resulted in the arrest of a Monroe County man.

On Saturday, April 10, about 4 p.m. officers of the Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 32 Beechwood Drive, Blakeslee, in Tobyhanna Township, to a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers were told by Patricia Castillo, 43, of that address that she and her husband, Jose Castillo, 44, were arguing during which Jose grabbed her by the neck and hair and threw her to the ground.Police said they observed red marks on both sides of her neck and a lump on top of her head.Jose was taken into custody and placed under arrest for domestic assault.
