State police at Lehighton reported investigating a rear-end crash on Sunday, April 11, about noon along SR115 in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, which involved a state police cruiser.

Troopers said Mary G. Ficzko, 81, of Easton, and Trooper Norman Strauss III, 29, of Lehighton, were both southbound. Troopers said Strauss stopped to make a left turn into a driveway when the front of Ficzko's 2000 Dodge Neon struck the rear of Strauss' 2009 Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser.No one was injured. Troopers cited Ficzko for driving too closely.
