An enchanted evening filled with music, food, and dancing is planned during the "Night of Music" at the Jim Thorpe Area High School.

This annual event will be held on Saturday, April 10, and includes a sit-down dinner with baked ziti, meatballs, along with salad and various desserts.Providing entertainment will be the Jim Thorpe High School Jazz Band, the Eclectic Fusion, the Don Bell Quintet, and various student singers.Doors open at 6 p.m. where guests will be greeted by the sounds of the steel drums played by Wesley Holmes.The evening officially starts at 6:30 p.m., with dinner being provided shortly after.All of the proceeds will go to the Jim Thorpe High School Band to help fund their band trip next year to Boston to compete against other high school bands.Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door the night of the event.For more information or to purchase tickets, call (570)325-3663.
