Slatington Borough will be conducting the annual flushing of its water system.

Residents are advised that there may be a drop in pressure and/or a cloudy to brownish appearance for a very short period of time during the flushing operation and will return to normal with use.The flushing schedule is as follows: well number seven, and lower pressure system, from 9 a.m. to noon April 5-8; low pressure system, and Kuehner Hill, high pressure, from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. April 12-15; and high pressure system, from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. April 19-22 and April 26-29.Residents are advised to plan normal water consumption activities around these times and dates.
