The library will be celebrating National Library Week by holding a Book Fair at Barnes & Noble in the Lifestyle Center, Whitehall, on Friday, April 16, from 6-8:30 p.m. For more information, contact the library.In recognition of National Library Week, the month of April will be a month of amnesty for all patrons with overdue books. No overdue fees will be charged. If you have a library book that is overdue, please return it, no questions asked. The book drop is always open.The library has the basic state tax forms available. www.revenue.state.pa.us for state.The Wonderful World of Wildlife will be on Saturday, April 17, at 10 a.m. for ages 4 to 5th grade. The preschool reading program is held on Tuesday, April 13; Tuesday, April 20; and Tuesday, April 27 at 11 a.m.The library accepts book donations with the exception of encyclopedias, text books, and Reader's Digest.Library hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Thursday and Sunday.Any questions concerning this information, contact Louise Bechtel at the library at (610) 767-6461.
