State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers on Sunday, March 28, in Carbon County.

About 1:56 a.m. troopers stopped Thomas McMahon, 39, of Lehighton, along SR209 in Franklin Township for a traffic violation. He was found to be intoxicated, troopers said, and the DUI charge is pending.At 8:12 p.m. troopers responded to 133 Thunder Lane, East Penn Township, for a motorist assist type incident. The driver was identified to be Robert J. Schreiber, 38, of Bensalem, Montgomery County, was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. The DUI charge is pending.
