Jim Thorpe police are investigating a theft incident.

Police said Lawrence Upshur, of Nesquehoning, reported someone removed a power generator from the rear deck at 427 North St. The generator, which was reported missing on Saturday, March 20, is valued at $200.Police are also investigating a criminal mischief to a vehicle incident. Police received a complaint from a resident in the 1300 block of Center Ave., that his Jeep had the drivers' side window smashed. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, police said. The incident was reported on Tuesday, March 23.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call police at (570) 325-4995.
