A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Saturday, March 20, about 1:59 a.m.

At the time and date stated Pocono Mountain Regional police officers responded to 4226 Campbell Way, in Tobyhanna, for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival officers found a man asleep on the front porch. Officers were told by the home owner, Vanesssa Rubino, 28, that she did not know the person.The suspect was identified as Travis Gearhart, 20, of Tobyhanna. Police said Gearhart appeared to be intoxicated and told them he believed he was at a friend's house and did not know how he got there. During a patdown officers found a small amount of marijuana on him.Police took Gearhart into custody and charged him with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness, underage drinking and trespass. He was later released.
