State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said a Bartonsville man will be cited in connection with the theft of a Top Brand trailer valued at $2,500.

James Sargent Jr., 24, is facing a charge of theft by unlawful taking.Police said it is alleged he removed the trailer from the yard of Robert Corbi, HC 2 Box 37B, Long Pond, Tunkhannock Township.The incident was reported to have happened at 1 a.m. Tuesday.
