A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 9:51 p.m. on Thursday, March 18.

State police at Lehighton said Kenneth Grant Ahner Jr., 54, of Palmerton, was stopped for several motor vehicle code violations along Hahns Dairy Road, at Sheckler Lane, in Lower Towamensing Township, at the time and date stated.He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. The DUI charge is pending, troopers added.
