State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, along SR534 in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Ryan M. Kearns, 16, of Effort, was pulling from Beltzville Drive onto 534 while Robert W. Garr, 51, of Kunkletown, was eastbound. Troopers said Kearns pulled out and struck Garr's 2007 Chevrolet Colarado with his 1996 Subaru Outback. Kearns and passengers Adam R. Strand, 16, of Effort, and Richard H. Pasqua, 18, of Saylorsburg, and Garr were all not injured.Troopers cited Kearns for the summary offense of duty at stop signs.
