Senators Browne, Argall and Mensch to host Energy Forum

State Senators Pat Browne, David Argall and Bob Mensch will host an Energy Forum from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 31 at the Schnecksville Fire Company, located at 4550 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville.

This presentation "How To Be A Smart Electric Consumer" will help with issues such as: Has your monthly electric bill increased? Have you selected a new electric generator? Do you know how to save money on your electric bill? Where do you go to compare rates?"People are looking for ways to both save energy and cut costs," Senator Browne said, "and this presentation will have many informative and helpful tips on how to be more energy efficient and how to reduce energy bills."Representatives from the Public Utility Commission and the Office of Consumer Advocate will be on hand to address these questions and explain what this all means to you as a consumer."Pennsylvania consumers have seen a spike in their utility bills as a result of the removal of the electric rate caps," Sen. Argall said.
